Abstract

La conversión de estados contables de una moneda en la que originalmente fueron preparados a otra, constituye un procedimiento de reexpresión, y, por lo tanto, debe considerárselo un tema inherente a la unidad de medida en la que se expresa la información contable. No consideraremos en este trabajo los aspectos básicos del procedimiento, puesto que sólo nos abocaremos a las cuestiones relativas a la identificación y el análisis del concepto de moneda funcional y a la identificación de los métodos aplicables en el marco de las normas contenidas en la resolución técnica nº 18, sección 1, vigente en la actualidad. Dilucidados estos aspectos, nos trasladamos al contexto argentino, a fin de interpretar cuáles son estos procedimientos en el marco de las normas contenidas de la resolución técnica nº 18, sección 1.
