Divulgación: El mercado de trabajo y la educación: la visión neoclásica e institucionalista

Abstract

El mercado de trabajo y la educación repercuten en el crecimiento económico y en el bienestar de la población. En este artículo se describen las visiones de dos corrientes económicas respecto al entramado que constituyen el trabajo y la educación: la visión neoclásica y la visión institucionalista. Para lograr el objetivo se consultó, analizó y sistematizó una gran cantidad de literatura teórica. Se concluyó que existen marcadas diferencias en las explicaciones del mercado de trabajo y su relación con la educación desde las citadas teorías y que, por esta razón, cada una de ellas propone políticas económicas diferentes.
