Abstract

Resumen traducido de un trabajo de tres investigadores del FMI, que analiza los aspectos operativos de la intervención oficial en el mercado cambiario, sobre todo en países en desarrollo con regímenes de tipo de cambio flexible. A diferencia de los bancos centrales de los países desarrollados, los de economías emergentes tienden a intervenir con mayor frecuencia en el mercado de cambios.
