Abstract

Der Beitrag skizziert ein erfahrungswissenschaftlich fundiertes Konzept der CSR. Dabei fragen wir zunaechst danach, wie Unternehmen handeln sollen und kommen zu dem Ergebnis, dass sie unter den Bedingungen einer Marktwirtschaft die Handlungsfreiheit anderer Wirtschaftssubjekte wahren sollen. In einem naechsten Schritt thematisieren wir, ob - und wie - ein solches Verstaendnis von CSR unter den Praemissen der Resource-Dependence-Theorie realisierbar ist. (The article outlines a concept of CSR that is based on empirical science. In the context of a market economy, we define CSR as the preservation of freedom of choice. We also ask if - and how - such a concept can be realized under the assumptions of resource-dependence theory.)
