La economía en el estancamiento los resultados de las reformas estructurales aplicadas en el periodo 1981-2007

Abstract

En las últimas tres décadas se han producido cambios trascendentes en la economía mexicana. En este artículo se plantean las principales características y consecuencias de la profunda reorientación económica con las políticas de ajuste estructural en los ochenta y, se realiza una primera indagación acerca de las principales razones justificatorias desde el propio modelo enmarcado en una economía de mercado, avanzando en algunas reflexiones críticas.También se realiza un somero análisis de la crisis y de la aplicación de políticas económicas de corte neoliberal pues éstas se consideran indispensables para entender el proceso de consolidación del modelo de crecimiento y desarrollo actualmente dominante en México con sus consecuentes y negativos impactos sociales.
