Trayectorias tecnológicas y análisis local

Abstract

El presente artículo analiza los aspectos que pueden servir para evaluar el desempeño y perspectivas de las empresas locales con importancia estratégica sobre los procesos de desarrollo local rural. Se hace primero una reflexión sobre las limitaciones que ofrece el análisis basado en las trayectorias tecnológicas para este efecto. Se propone una forma híbrida más amplia para lograr este mismo objetivo, y se construye un esquema de evaluación (e interpretación) que considera y vincula siete elementos claves a nivel local para evaluar el desempeño de este tipo de empresas: nivel del valor agregado, grado de engranamientos locales, combinaciones entre especialización y diversificación, grado de flexibilidad, trayectoria tecnológica, nivel de sustentabilidad local, y papel frente a la acumulación del capital social y simbólico local.
