Rasgos Y Cambios De La Actividad Económica En Michoacán 1993-1999

Abstract

En este trabajo se presentan series estadísticas que permiten interpretar la evolución y cambios de la actividad económica del Estado de Michoacán durante el periodo de 1993-1999. Para ello, se toma la información del PIB que proporciona el Sistema de Cuentas Nacionales publicadas por el (INEGI) a precios de 1993. Se concluye que la actividad económica en esta entidad federativa alcanza niveles importantes para el período de referencia, superior incluso a la evolución de la economía nacional, sin embargo, lo mismo que en la década de los ochenta, la economía sigue teniendo un marcado sustento en las actividades terciarias y aunque el sector industrial gana importancia en aportación al PIB, éste se encuentra lejos del ingreso generado por los servicios.
