Abstract

El trabajo aborda el problema de la excesiva concentración del desarrollo económico, explicado en buena medida por las decisiones para la aplicación de los recursos, la infraestructura en general y los recursos humanos altamente calificados que han sido instrumentadas por el actual modelo de desarrollo. Plantea y concluye que el desarrollo regional es un proceso acumulativo, pues permite un mejoramiento de las capacidades humanas, y de la productividad que favorezca al crecimiento.
