Situación de la Industria Mexicana a Fines del Siglo XX

Abstract

En este artículo se refiere que el sistema mundo capitalista vive a partir de la globalización / internacionalización un proceso de cambios continuos entre los que destacan particularmente la innovación tecnológica, el nuevo rol de la tecnología para gestar ventajas competitivas y el nuevo rol del Estado en distintas naciones para impulsar los procesos de desarrollo económico e industrial. En este nuevo entorno la economía mexicana, llega al nuevo siglo en una situación de franco atraso industrial, social, político, cultural, educativo, tecnológico, etc. Su estructura socioeconómica se encuentra frente a una cada vez más amplia y profunda brecha respecto a los llamados países desarrollados y no tiene muchas opciones a tomar al respecto.
