Abstract

[eng] II: National Accounts Using the methods described in the first part of the paper («manufacturing output»), the second one deals with Gdp cycles. The role of the various components of final internal demand on one hand, of the possibly counter-cyclical agregates (public expenditure and external trade) on the other, are compared through time and space. Once again the USA and the U.K. appear as the most cyclical economies, possibly because countries such as Japan and Germany manage short term fluctuations more efficiently.
