[eng] The crisis of french defense industry is analysed as part of the agency theory. The « Gold Plating » phenomenon is considered in relation with the agent's strategy (centralisation of the specific information). Foreign experiences show that problems are not cleared up in alternate models of regulation (UK or USA for example). High specificity of investments, agent's opportunism and uncertainty highlight two main difficulties : degree of information's centralization and scope of contractual arrangement.
