Abstract

[eng] Contemporaneous analysis of endo- genous growth often refer to the work of Allyn Young, who is considered as a precursor. Still, endogenous growth models are most often based on traditional externality phenomena, which hide the essentiel aspect of Young's analysis : the combination of two dynamics, returns to scale and demand elasticities. This article proposes a multisectoral model based on this mechanism, which is then used to analyse the causes of the slowdown in the economic growth of the developed countries over the last years.
