[fre] L'article reprend les discussions récentes sur les conséquences de la non-rémunération des dépôts, en insistant sur les principaux arguments théoriques avancés. Ceux-ci sont regroupés en trois catégories, selon qu'ils ont trait à «l'organisation industrielle» du secteur (taille des réseaux, subventions croisées entre services,...), au risque bancaire, ou aux aspects redistributifs. [eng] The paper reviews recent discussion on the regulation of deposit rate. It concentrates upon the main theoretical arguments at stake. We successively consider the consequences of regulation upon the industrial organization of the sector (network size, non-subsidies,...) upon risk and upon income distribution.
