[eng] This article deals with market equilibrium and gives a synthesis of the instances in which markets do not clear at equilibrium when prices are free to adjust to their equilibrium values. The nature of market institutions plays the prominent part in carrying such equilibria. The paper finally explores the methodological outcomes of their existence.
