Pour une réforme des régimes de retraite

Abstract

[fre] Le poids des prestations sociales croît rapidement et les pensions de retraites semblent progresser hors de tout contrôle. Les retraites versées par les seuls régimes de Sécurité Sociale devraient passer de 10,5% du produit intérieur brut (P.I.B.) en 1987 à 12,5% du P.I.B. en 2005 et 17% du P.I.B. en 2030. Que faire pour préserver les droits de ceux qui ont cotisé toute leur vie sans que le coût des régimes de retraites ne devienne prohibitif pour l'économie française ? Cet article propose des solutions à la fois techniques et économiques à ce problème. [eng] The weight of social security programs is increasing fast, especially that of pensions. Pensions payed by the public social security system should increase form 10,5% of gross domestic product (G.D.P) in 1987 to 12,5% of G.D.P. in 2005 and 17% of G.D.P. in 2030. What can be done to maintain benefits for those who have contributed a lifetime letting pension costs become unbearable for the French economy ? paper offers both technical and economic answers to this problem.
