  • Corinne Barlet

[eng] Consumer preference for domestic goods and penetration of a foreign market. . This paper analyzes the influence of consumers preference for domestic goods on the choice of a foreign firm between export and direct investment. We make appear a particular aspect of firms interdependence: direct investment results from a power struggle unfavourable to the foreign firm and not from a competitive advantage.
