Abstract

[eng] On the " transformation " problem . This paper shows that the accumulation by capitalists of the entite surplus value is a sufficient assumption for the transformation of surplus value info profits and of values info production prices to be carried ouf.. In the general instance in which capitalists consume a part of this surplus value, there appears the interest and the nccessity of a recourse to a standard commodity rebuilt on the assumption of an " advanced " wage. The profit rate of the actual system is not, as Marx thought, determined on the basis of the " average " conditions of production, but on the basis of the conditions of production in the newly defined standard System,. The introduction of machines in a production System of single product industries can be solved by the Sraffa-Von Neumann method. In such a case, the rate of profit in the actual System remains dependent on the exploitation rate and the organic composition (expressed in value tcrms) of the standard commodity.
