Abstract

[eng] The theory of « competitioned economies», as a basis of the Fifi model. . The main economic characteristic of the Fifi model (which constitutes a basic innovation in the 6th Plan methods) derives from the theory of « competitioned economies » elaborated by the author. This theory is based upon an analysis of open economies explicitely taking info account the impact of foreign competition on the prices of « exposed » sectors. The purpose of this paper is an overview of the theory of « competitioned economies » with algebraic and graphical representations. Two models are presented. A « one sector model » allowing the comparison between the equilibrium determinations in competitioned economy on the one hand, and in keynesian economy on the other hand. A « two sectors model » in which the mechanisms of an economy including both « exposed » and « sheltered » sectors are explained.
