  • Sami Khedhiri

[eng] Empirical analysis of agricultural market integration in Tunisia . The development of the agricultural sector requires that agricultural products be competitive in the domestic and the international markets. This may be shown by the degree of market integration which is studied in this article for the case of Tunisia. Our cointegration analysis results show that the degree of wholesale market integration is low in particular for the strategic products. It is also shown that the distance between markets and the volume of transactions cannot explain this lack of linkage between the markets.
