Abstract

[eng] The republican agricultural laws focused economical conjuncture before private properties : early in the 20th century, the « Code du Vin » concerns mostly the wine production. So did the « Statut de la Viticulture » in the thirties. Both are circunstantial laws : they planned to save the economical and social background of the Languedoc-Roussillon. The first structural laws (inheritance, exchange...) were unknownd or unaccomplished until the second half of the century, when the 5th republic involves a strong spring for a new structuration of properties. In order to adapt french agriculture to modern development first, to european competition now. South winegrowers are strongly concerned with such an evolution. Struggles for adaptation and street violences belong to their past and present.
