Abstract

[eng] Tendencies in the employment of salaried workers in agricultural production - In a period when competition in agricultural markets is sharpening and when the problems of overproduction cast doubts on the futur of an increasing number of farms which, until recently, were considered to be performing well, what happens to the salaried agricultural worker? . The technical and social ajustments necessary to allow for important productivity gains in the farming sector are obtained by the reduction of the volume of human work, through flexibility in labour relations, and probably by means of new technical advances.
