Abstract

[eng] The farm labor-force shifts are mainly the result of two powerful factors : the farm product demand changes and the evolution in the conditions governing the use and the reproduction of wage earming labor-force in the economy at large. These shifts operate through specific individual behaviours. The role of the educational system, the importance of young adults social integration and intergeneration transmission of the farm are stressed.
