Abstract

[fre] Le secteur privé en Algérie est constitué de petites exploitations pratiquant la céréaliculture selon des méthodes traditionnelles avec de faibles rendements. Des essais agronomiques conduits chez les exploitants ont montré que l'on pouvait facilement doubler le rendement. Les blocages à l'intensification tiennent à l'insuffisance de de la et au contexte économique. [eng] In the private sector in Algeria, cereals are grown on small farms with traditionnal methods giving low yield. Agronomic trials made on the farms, show that it is easy to double the yield. Constraints come from the lack of equipment, the lack of extension and the economic environment.
