Abstract

[fre] Dans la recherche d'une revitalisation du tissu rural profond, une nouvelle définition du service public de transport en zone rurale est en train de voir le jour : Transport collectif à la demande (appel téléphonique) desservant les habitants à domicile selon des horaires et des destinations préétablies. C'est le service taxibus ou minicar assurant une couverture spatiale et non linéaire d'un périmètre donné. [eng] Report of an experiment in the Tarn department. Rural people who lack transportation can arrange by telephone to be picked up at a given time at their home. This service provides zonal rather than linear coverage and is useful for iow density scattered housing areas.
