Abstract

[fre] La gestion des coopératives agricoles pose de nombreuses difficultés liées à leur nature économiquement originale et différente de celle de l'entreprise capitaliste. L'étude de la rationalité du comportement du coopérateur permet d'en déduire les objectifs financiers de la coopérative, différents de ceux de l'entreprise. [eng] Farmer's cooperatives are firms of a specific type, different from capitalistic firms. This raises many difficulties in their management. A study of the rationality of members' behaviour leads to the conclusion that the financial objectives of the cooperatives differ from those of capitalist firms.
