Abstract

[fre] Subventions en capital, conditions particulières de crédit, prises de participation, l'aide de l'Etat directe ou indirecte à la restructuration et au développement des IAA est loin d'être négligeable. Pourtant la diversité des formes qu'elle revêt et plus encore la multiplicité des administrations ou des organismes qui ont la charge de distribuer cette aide, nuisent à son efficacité. . Une amélioration de la situation actuelle passe par une meilleure définition des objectifs de la politique alimentaire française. Elle permettrait à la fois une cohérence accrue entre les finalités parfois différentes de l'aide publique et une meilleure coordination des administrations concernées. [eng] State aid to the food industry - Subsidies in capital, special conditions for loans, direct or indirect state aid for the restructuration and development dt agri-business is far from negligible. Yet the many varied forms it takes and still more the great number of government departments and bodies responsible for distributing this aid prevent it from being fully effective. An improvement of the present situation depends on the aims of French food policy being better defined. It would lead both to an increased coherence of the different aims of state aid and a better coordination of the government departments concerned.
