Abstract

[fre] Créée depuis trois ans pour organiser et commercialiser la production de jeunes bovins mâles de 16-18 mois, la C.J.B.C. a connu une expansion très rapide (de 500 à 7.500 animaux produits annuellement) et a su trouver des marchés surtout à l'exportation. . Les raisons de ce succès sont simples : . — discipline très stricte des producteurs permettant d'aboutir à une production de qualité homogène en quantité régulière et programmé ; . — maîtrise de la technique de production, dégagée des contraintes naturelles et aléas climatiques (utilisation de produits déshydratés) ; . — possibilité de passer des marchés à terme avec des firmes importantes ; . — contrôle rigoureux des performances de3 animaux et des critères de gestion (coûts de production). . Les perspectives d'avenir et les difficultés actuelles sont évoquées dans l'optique d'une expansion possible de ce type de production dans le cadre géographique de la Coopérative.
