Abstract

[eng] Since the last two general census, the geographic mobility of people between the various regions are more or less known while their causes remain more obscure. . Migrants from agriculture generally find in town unskilled labourer positions. A better education would improve a migration always painful for the farmer. [fre] Depuis les deux derniers recensements, la mobilité géographique des individus, et plus particulièrement les migrations interrégionales, sont à peu près connues ; leurs causes le sont beaucoup moins. . La majorité des mutants qui ont quitté le milieu rural exercent en milieu urbain un emploi non qualifié. Une politique plus active en matière de formation professionnelle et d'aide à la mobilité géographique permettrait sans doute d'éviter une mutation trop souvent difficile pour l'agriculteur.
