Abstract

[fre] Pour promouvoir le développement économique et social du Nord-Finistère, la SEMENF (1) a relié lss activités économiques de la région et les hommes qui en sont responsables, puis ir.is en place de nouvelles structures. £nfin, avec l'appui financier de l'Etat, elle a procédé à une information de la population aui permette à celle-ci de s'associer à l'action de développement. . L'étude faite par la SARES à la demande de la SEMENF, a permis de définir la population agricole et rurale de la région. L'utilisation des petits groupes de base, le travail, à différents niveaux, d'éauipes homogènes, l'emploi de supports matériels bien choisis, ont permis de mener une campagne d'information efficace. [eng] To promote economic and social development of an area in Brittany, the SEMENF (1) was set up. This board engaged in various development actions, trained leaders set up new institutions. It appeared necessary also io inform the whole population of the area in order that it should become more responsive and participate more. The SARES, a private consulting firm, was responsible for this. It first studies the farming and rural population of the area and determined sub groups. The information program could then be launched using small groups, working at each level. They were helped by special teams of social workers using specialy prepared informational material.
