Abstract

[eng] The industrialization of the Hungarian agriculture has been slow Methodological errors were committed (exagerated centralization, state monopolies, disproportionate goals of planning) and necessitated an economic reformation. . Agriculture and food industries are now put under the same Ministry. . A trend of increased autonomy, concentration and specialization of farms is noticeable. The farms are tied to the industrial firms by contracts protecting the interests of both parties.
