[eng] Does the Farm Credit through its driving force and its functions, meet the needs of the. agricultural and rural economy ? . A survey in one « département», the Gard, shows possibilities of a broader development of agriculture and rural activities: what will be the future of the Farm Credit organization in this area? [fre] Le Crédit agricole, par son influence motrice et ses fonctions, répond-il parfaitement aux besoins de l'économie agricole et rurale ? . Une enquête, menée au niveau d'un département, le Gard, débouche sur les perspectives plus larges d'évolution de l'agriculture et du monde rural : quel y sera l'avenir du Crédit agricole ?
