Abstract

[eng] These thoughts on an experiment already old, the INPAR (institute for rural adult education) and on an experiment in progress, « Télé-Promotion » (education television programs for farmers) point out that through collective and appropriate basic socio-economic education, the farmer should be able to participate in the creation, in the spreading and in the control of economic information. . Should we train and inform an élite or the mass ? . Collective training can only be a mass action; here, television is an excellent means, owing to the initiative and the participation of the audience, to the rôle of the television « host », to the accompanying documents and to the discussion in groups in which conclusions are drawn.
