Tout en soulignant les forces fondamentales, notamment structurelles, dont disposent les établissements (densité des réseaux, niveau élevé de technologie et de productivité), il s’interroge sur leur capacité à répondre aux défis nés de la crise. . Classification JEL : G20, G21 [eng] An unassuming diagnosis . In this interview, Yves Ullmo reviews the current difficulties affecting the French banking system. Whilst underlining the fundamental, notably structural, strengths of the country’s establishments (extensive coverage of their networks, high level of technology and productivity), he raises the question of their ability to meet the challenges born out of the current crisis. .
