In this interview, Edmond Alphandéry highlights the exceptional progress of European integration over the last 50 years, while also pointing out the inability of certain countries to adapt and thus benefit fully from this integration. He suggests a number of ways to restimulate this process, which has lost much of its momentum, not only from a political and institutional point of view, but also an economic and monetary standpoint.
