Abstract

[eng] The banking lobby in Brussels . The growing representation of banking industry in Brussels explains first by the growing importance of the legislation from the European Commission, as well as by the peculiarities of the European legislative process which links professional representatives to the elaboration of texts. The landscape given by these representatives is itself complex : non-specialized or specialized European professional associations, big banks, national professional associations and other particular structures meet there to work together, but sometimes with different objectives. . . Classification JEL : G21
