Abstract

[eng] Market and investment banking : the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive . During these last ten years in Europe, MiFID is the most founding legislative text for financial actors. This article presents first the new rules of competition that MiFID imposes on all the market activities. Then, it deals with the impact of this directive for the actors : regulated markets, market and investment banking, investors and European regulators. . JEL classification : F36, G24, G28 [fre] La directive MIF est le texte législatif européen le plus structurant de ces dix dernières années pour les différents acteurs financiers. Cet article décrit tout d’abord les nouvelles règles de concurrence que cette dernière fixe sur l’ensemble des activités de marché. Puis, il expose l’impact de cette directive pour les acteurs : les marchés réglementés, les banques d’investissement et de marché, les investisseurs et les régulateurs européens. .
