Abstract

. Classification JEL : F36, G18, G28 [eng] A new markets’ organization : challenges of the Directive on markets in financial instruments . MiFID is a major step in the settlement system’s restructuring in which regulated markets are one of the several forms. The implementation of a single financial market in Europe must be debated, particularly concerning the post-traded market, the clearing and the settlement/ delivery systems where efficiencies are expected. Post-traded market’s structure, some European entities’ utility and their governance are the main questions that will be soon discussed. This article deals with the new financial markets’ organisation and the challenges of the MiFID. . JEL classification : F36, G18, G28
