Abstract

[fre] Le métier de régulateur consiste en un dosage permanent entre protection des investisseurs et compétitivité des places financières. Il s’agit de veiller à la sécurité des intermédiaires, à la qualité des produits et à la performance des systèmes. Au niveau de la coopération internationale, plusieurs organismes ont été mis en place, en particulier l’OICV. L’objectif est de renforcer la coopération entre les places, d’harmoniser les normes comptables et de faciliter la lutte contre la fraude. . Classification JEL : G18 [eng] Regulation and development of financial centres . Regulatory institutions have to protect investors and at the same time, maintain the competitivity of financial centers. They must control the security of intermediaries, the quality of the products, and the level of performance of technology. Cooperation and harmonization between international financial centers are some objectives that the main centers are trying to achieve. . JEL Classification : G18
