Abstract

[eng] Financing firms in Morocco and Tunisia : challenges and adaptations. The institution of a euro-Mediterranean agreement on tariff and trade constitutes the most important challenge proposed to Mediterranean countries. This agreement will involve deep modifications of the economic structure. In order to favour this important evolution, the Meda program was adopted after the signature of the Barcelona agreement (1995). This program is composed of three aspects : one relative to common security, an another one relative to human and social aspects and a third one relative to economic and financial issues. This article deals with this last aspect and is principally devoted to the analysis of the necessary evolution of the financing of firms in Morocco and Tunisia. We present in this paper the context of the intervention of the Agence française de développement.
