Abstract

[eng] The category of market has been highly paradoxical in economics. It is at the core of the analytical frameworks of the economists but still the most reductive and unrealistic assumptions are made regarding it. Only recently and notably from the works run by the institutionalist schools, the economists have started a genuine thought on the category of market, showing the complexity of the process of construction of markets, the plurality and variety of the arrangements that allow their existence and working. To understand the market is also to understand how the markets are built, how their organisation can evolve.
