Abstract

[fre] À partir d'une typologie de détention de trésorerie, cet article met en évidence des profils de comportement financier des entreprises industrielles françaises. Il montre au travers d'un échantillon de la base de données de la centrale de bilans de la Banque de France sur la période 1990-1994 que les firmes détenant une trésorerie de type excédentaire réalisent un équilibre financier plus sain. Celles-ci ont de meilleurs rendements conjugués à une structure productive nettement plus efficace. [eng] On the basis of a taxonomy of firm treasuries, the article highlights different types of behaviours of french industrial firms. The data basis of balance sheets of the french national bank, over the period 1990-94, the analysis tends to show that firms having excess treasuries have better returns combined with a more efficient productive structure.
