Abstract

[eng] The recent observation of the structuration of production systems indicates an explosion of industrial policy which modifies paradoxally the classical approach of delocalization/relocalization which is above all determined by market variables and the opportunites of localization. In fact, on the one hand, especially with the pressure of technological evolution, we are witnessing a growing universalization of economic exchange ; this leads to new organizational forms for inter-firm relations at the international level. Moreover, the decline in the institutional efficacy of nation states, especially in advanced industrial societies, provokes a correlated movement in favour of local dynamics which are structured by the impetus of partnershipnetworks. The importance of these recent linkages between local territorial networks and the interaction of firms with their international environment will be revelated through an analysis of mechanisms that structure the innovation processes in enterprises.
