Abstract

[eng] This article presents the methodological bases and analytics consequences of a group's study in the area of the French statistical System. First, the statistical definition of group is enriched by a comparison with the economic concept. On this basis and using the « Enquête Liaisons Financières », food industry groups are classified according to their financial and their production organisation. Each industry is then characterised from the various internal organisations forms of industrial agents. This analysis enables the identification of industries which are the most influenced by the phenomenon of strategic interdependance generated by the presence of groups.
