Abstract

Les changements technologiques se traduisent par l'apparition de nouveaux produits et la mise en œuvre de nouveaux processus de production. Au niveau microéconomique ils impliquent pour les entreprises d'entrer sur de nouveaux marchés et plus généralement d'engager des processus de mobilité d'activité qui se heurtent à différents obstacles qui peuvent être regroupés sous le vocable de barrières à la mobilité (au sens de Caves et Porter 1977). L'identification de la nature de ces barrières qui s'incarne dans l'existence de coûts irrécouvrables permet, d'une part, de concevoir un cadre analytique approprié pour les analyser et, d'autre part, de formuler une théorie des stratégies de mobilité qui sont des stratégies d'innovation (...).
