Abstract

[eng] The electronics industry in Singapore is a result of transfer of activities by the Transnational Firms. The low wages and favorable tax system are no more significant factors for this movement; presently, the economic environment and the industrial network seem to be the main incentives for the foreign investors. The electronics industry in Singapore is diversifying in the fields of consumer goods, professional equipments and R.D. Singapore, tiny island of the World electronics industry is turning more and more into a major « growth pole ».
