Abstract

[eng] A taxonomy of small business is presented here, with some quantitative criteria, based upon organizational theories related to administrative structure, which allow to reintroduce in the analysis, the roles of the entrepreneur.. This study identifies different groups of firms with specifie characteristics. Results show the non discriminant power of the classifications based on size and the usefulness of criteria of the administrative structure to differentiate the small businesses.
