Abstract

[fre] Après l'augmentation du prix du pétrole en 1973, l'équilibre macroéconomique exigeait des adaptations, au niveau des exportations en particulier.. Les stratégies qui correspondaient à cet équilibre ont-elles été profitables aux entreprises et à leurs actionnaires ? La réaction des firmes aux nouvelles conditions montre l'effet de la concurrence internationale sur les prix. Nous observons, à travers l'analyse de 13 variables et de 78 entreprises industrielles cotées à la Bourse de Paris, que les performances boursières ont été liées au succès à l'exportation et à la diversification. [eng] After the increase of the prices of oil in 1973, macroeconomic balance required some adjustments in exports, for instance.. Have such strategies been profitable for firms and share-holders ?. The answers of firms to new conditions show the positive effect on prices of international competition ; moreover, this paper proves that stock performance depended upon export success and diversification, through the analysis of thirteen variables for 78 industrial firms at Paris Stock Exchange.
