Abstract

[eng] The first proposition consists in considering the various types of firms as differentiated social relation centers. Beyond differences of size the small firms are quite different from large firms, which are also quite different from industrial, commercial, banking, and financial groups.. The second proposition is methodological, suggesting the cross utilization of approaches which are traditionally considered as being those of history, sociology of organizations, economics, management... As a consequence, financial power will not be considered to be exclusively based on the ownership of social capital, without reference to various factors like personal or family relationships, debt and technological, industrial or commecial relations.
