Abstract

[eng] Yvonick Renard - The industrial statistics at stake. A wide ranging reform of the french statistical system is actually envisaged as concerns the production surveys in the various industrial sectors. While technical improvements appear to have their own justification, both the objectives and the ways and means of the reform give rise to some legitime concern.. The enterprises are the main users of detailed statistical informations, while the coordinating economic administration only needs rather aggregate information.. Does the "general interest" imply the total disappearance of detailed and useful informations and the huge increase of the cost of obtaining reliable and relevant data?
