Abstract

[fre] Résumé Les traités de morale des XVIe et XVIIe siècles publiés dans la péninsule Ibérique sont liés à des questions religieuses qui ont profondément influencées les mentalités. Ils s'adressent à la haute noblesse et demandent au mari la fidélité, à la femme l'obéissance. Après le concile de Trente, ces conseils s'ouvrent à des nouveaux destinataires et s'attachent à décrire le contenu de la relation conjugale afin de réguler plus largement les fonctions de la famille et de la société. [eng] Abstract Treatise on morality of the 16th and 17th centuries published in the Iberian Peninsula are dealing with religious issues which deeply influenced mentalities. They advocate the higher nobility for husband's fidelity and wife's obediance. After the Council of Trent, this advice is generalized to other social classes. Marital relationship is described and analysed in order to regulate the wider scope of family and society.
